On 06-07/03/2024, the delegation of FREEMIND Group, including Mr. Kitada Hideji – General Director, Mr. Kitada Ryosuke – Sales Manager and representatives of N&V Bridge Group, including CEO Nguyen Vo Huyen Duong, Deputy Director Tanigaki made a visit, met and exchanged with Vietnamese partners about the JPT Japanese language proficiency test.
On 06/03, the delegation visited and worked with representatives of the Department of Quality Management at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Training. The delegation introduced about JPT contest (Japanese Proficiency Test) to Assoc. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong – Director of General Department of Quality Management and Mr. Thai Van Tai – Director of Department of Primary Education, as well as being guided on the application for approval to organize the exam in Vietnam.
This is an exam held in 12 countries around the world to assess and certify the Japanese language proficiency of non-native Japanese speakers. The certificate is recognized at many Japanese schools and businesses. The advantages of the exam are that it is held once a month, the results are returned after 8 days and there is no pass or fail results.
On 07/03, the delegation had a meeting with representatives of the parties, including representative of the Japanese Department of Foreign Trade University – Dean of Dr. Faculty. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Thuy, representative of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, University of Languages & International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi – Dean of the Faculty. Dao Thi Nga My and representative of Kim Dong Publishing House – Director Bui Tuan Nghia. Within the framework of the visit, the delegation introduced the exam to schools, and exchanged the cooperation in publishing books and exam preparation materials with the publisher.
Hopefully, the business trip will open up new cooperation opportunities for the parties, so that the JPT exam is widely deployed in Vietnam, helping Vietnamese people have more opportunities to study and work in Japanese enterprises.
