Representatives of Mizuno Group (Japan) and N&V Bridge Group visited and worked with Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son

In the morning of July 27, 2023, Mr. Tatani Kiyoshi – Sales Director of Mizuno Group and Mr. Nguyen Vo Huyen Duong – CEO of N&V Bridge Group visited and worked with Minister Nguyen Kim Son at the Ministry of Education and Training.

Mizuno is a long-standing sports brand in Japan with a history of formation and development of more than 100 years. In 2018, the group signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Education and Training on cooperation in developing physical education in primary schools in Vietnam.

Accordingly, 126 primary schools across the country have received Mizuno Hexathlon kits at primary level. Departments of Education and Training implement the application of Mizuno Hexathlon program in local physical education lessons, creating exciting lessons, maximizing potential and excitement for students.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyen Kim Son highly appreciated that Mizuno Group was appointed by the Ministry of Education of Japan as a coordinating unit to promote the implementation of the program to introduce and expand Japanese-style physical education activities abroad within the framework of the Edu-Port program.

The Minister expressed his hope that the Group would continue to support Vietnam to expand the implementation of projects, so that not only primary schools in cities and deltas but also schools in mountainous, remote, and disadvantaged areas can also participate.

Finally, regarding the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two sides, the Minister paid attention to the content of cooperation in supporting teacher capacity building and physical science development, physical education applications in schools.

If the new cooperation agreement is finalized, it is expected that the two sides will organize the signing on the occasion of the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training to work with Japanese partners in 2023, on the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
